OTTAWA FLY FISHERS SOCIETY

Join us for the 2026-2027 season

Membership opens up for next year on September 1. Whether you’re a seasoned fly angler or interested in getting a line wet for the first time, the club offers community, instruction and fishing opportunities for you.

We have big plans for the coming year, including:

  • In person and Zoom presentations on ecology, fishing for brook trout, steelhead, pike and bone fish, tactics for fishing small streams and research happening at local Universities.
  • Fly tying instruction and social fly tying nights.
  • Winter indoor casting practice 
  • Introduction to fly fishing and intermediate casting lessons 
  • Organized club fishing trips.
  • Gear swap
  • Local weekly fishing outings in the summer

Ottawa Fly Fishers Society - Club House Location

Champlain Park Field House is where we hold our monthly meetings and Fly Tying nights in the winter. Also, in the park,  we hold casting clinics and casting competitions and fun night activities.
